About Frisson Map

Echoes of Tarja Turunen's music, around the world

What it is

Frisson Map is an unofficial fan map for the community around Tarja Turunen. It's made by fans for fans, and it's non-commercial — no ads, nothing for sale.

How it works: you drop an Echo on the map — a point anywhere her music meant something to you. A concert hall, or somewhere completely ordinary. You can browse Echoes from fans around the world, look up upcoming concerts and online streams, discover places that matter to the fandom, and rate songs from the album Frisson Noir to see where each one is loved most.

It's not an official project

Frisson Map was created independently — without consulting Tarja Turunen or her team — and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by her, her management, or her label earMUSIC. Tarja's name, her music, and her trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. Frisson Map is fan-made content, built by people who love her music.

How it works

Three steps to leave your trace on the map and find where Tarja's music lives around the world.

01
Mark a place

Add an Echo

Drop a pin where Tarja's music meets a memory — a song, a place, a moment worth keeping.

02
See the world

Browse the map

Wander the globe and read what fans everywhere are saying — Echo by Echo, city by city.

03
Go live

Find concerts

Tour dates, online streams, and the venues the fandom loves — every show on one map.

Your privacy, in short

No analytics, no ads, no tracking. With location, you choose how precise your Echo is — and when you let us find you via GPS, your exact location never leaves your browser. We don't set advertising or tracking cookies.

Just so it's complete: a few things, like the map tiles or cover photos, load straight from other companies' servers — which then see your IP address, exactly like images on any other website. It's not tracking, that's just how the web works. Which services these are, you'll find in the Privacy Policy.

Built on

Frisson Map runs on plain web technologies and stands on a number of open projects. Thanks especially to:

AI and avatars. Some place and concert descriptions are pre-filled with AI so fans don't have to write as much — you'll spot them by the symbol. They may contain mistakes. Avatars in profiles are AI illustrations, not photos of real people.

Get in touch

Bug reports, content takedown requests, ideas, or just hi — info@frissonmap.com. It's a hobby project, so replies may not be quick.

You can also raise bugs and ideas as an issue in the public feedback repo: github.com/petaSk98/FrissonMap-Feedback (it's public — send anything personal by email).

The album Frisson Noir comes out 12 June 2026.
